Below you will find detailed descriptions and agendas for the various StealthStation™ courses.

A variety of courses for Cranial Navigation, Spine Navigation and ENT Navigation are available and include using the StealthStation™ Systems and O-arm™ Surgical Imaging System, and Fusion™ System.


Courses For Clinicians (for StealthStation™ S8 System)

Target Audience: Customers (OR personnel) with a StealthStation™ S8 system. This course instructs on the effective use of the StealthStation™ S8 system for surgical navigation of cranial and ENT procedures utilizing both optical and EM tracking methods. Emphasis is placed on understanding the concepts of image-guided surgery including the qualities of a scan, principles of registration, and techniques of navigation. Additionally, this course reviews the steps in navigated tumor resection, biopsy, FESS and shunt catheter placement procedures with the system. This course is held in the Medtronic Navigation Education Center in Louisville, CO and is led by our Medtronic Navigation Medical Education team.

Length: 2 days / Contact Hours: 14.0*

*The California State Board of Registered Nursing is the credentialing agency that approves Medtronic Midas Rex as a provider of continuing education (Provider Number 13668). The 14.0 nursing contact hours received by attending this workshop can be submitted to the individual's state nursing board towards the renewal of their license. Although the credentialing agency is located in California, the contact hours apply to nurses in other states as well. Contact hours will be awarded based on satisfactory completion of the entire course. Partial credit will not be given.

Emphasis is on understanding the concepts of navigated spine surgery, handling and care of navigated instruments, how to work safely with and around an O-arm™ imaging system and basic trouble-shooting. This course is held at the Medtronic Navigation Education Center in Louisville, CO and is led by our Medtronic Navigation Medical Education team.

Length: 1 day / Contact Hours: 7.5*

The 7.5 nursing contact hours received by attending this workshop can be submitted to the individual’s state nursing board towards the renewal of their license. Reserving Your Class
Please note that class sizes are limited to ensure individualized learning needs are met. We accept enrollment based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class Prerequisites
Please ensure you enroll in the correct class, based on the equipment at your hospital. For example, you will need to know if you are working with a StealthStation™ S7, StealthStation™ S8, or Fusion™ ENT Navigation system. We offer different classes that are specific to equipment.

Fees and Payment
Customers with an active Service and Support Agreement have an annual allotment of course credits. Customers not covered under warranty or service agreement can attend a class based on our fee schedule. A fee also applies once the annual allotment of course credits has been utilized.
